Rachael Ross: Instructor

If you’ve ever joined us for a Saturday Stroller Strides class, you’ve probably had the pleasure of working out with Rachael! Her energy, warmth, and love for movement make every class a fun and welcoming experience. As a passionate educator both inside and outside of FIT4MOM, Rachael brings her enthusiasm for fitness and connection to everything she does. We’re so lucky to have her on our team! Let's get to know Rachael!

Where did you grow up? I grew up in Bolingbrook, IL.

Tell us about your family! My husband, Brandon, and I have two amazing daughters—Layla (2 ½) and Everly (10 months). We also have two insane doodles, Stella and Hester!

What is your current or previous career outside of FIT4MOM? I am an Elementary PE Teacher at Ivy Hill Elementary in Arlington Heights.

What inspired you to become a FIT4MOM instructor or support team member? The connections I made with other instructors when I first joined FIT4MOM had such a big impact on me. My love for teaching and staying active made becoming an instructor feel like the perfect fit!

What’s your favorite class to teach (or take!) and why? Stroller Strides! I love the connections I get to make with moms, kiddos, and other family members. It’s such a special class!

What’s a class you haven’t taught (or taken!) yet but would love to? I started my FIT4MOM journey with Fit4Baby, and I would love to teach that class one day! I’d love to help new moms make those same early connections that meant so much to me.

What is your favorite part about being part of the FIT4MOM team? The village we’ve built and the friendships I’ve made will last a lifetime. I’m so grateful for all the connections I’ve made here.

How has FIT4MOM impacted your motherhood journey? FIT4MOM truly saved me during my first maternity leave. It gave me a place to go where I could vent, cry, or celebrate even the smallest moments.

Tell us something about yourself that would surprise us! I could eat ice cream for every meal, every day, forever and ever!
