We are so lucky to have Anna as part of our team! Anna is a substitute Stroller Strides instructor, and she brings so much energy, creativity, and dedication to every class she leads. Her passion for fitness, love for our FIT4MOM community, and unwavering support for our moms make her such an important part of our team. Anna’s positive attitude and warmth shine through, and we are grateful for the incredible impact she has on everyone she works with. Here’s a little more about Anna:
Where did you grow up? I grew up in the Chicago suburbs.
Tell us about your family! I grew up with my mom and dad, and I don’t have any siblings. My husband and I have been married for eight years, and we have one child.
What is your current or previous career outside of FIT4MOM? I’m a special education teacher.
What inspired you to become a FIT4MOM instructor? I really look forward to my weekly workouts, and I wanted to continue them when regular instructors weren’t available. I love being helpful, so joining the FIT4MOM team felt like a great way to stay active and support the community.
What’s your favorite class to teach (or take!) and why? Stroller Strides is my favorite! It’s such a great way to get in a long, effective workout while still challenging all fitness levels. I love the mix of active stations and stroller walks for active recovery.
What’s a class you haven’t taught (or taken!) yet but would love to? I’d love to learn more about Body Ignite. I’m really interested in developing workouts with weights that challenge your body but don’t leave you feeling completely drained.
What is your favorite part about being part of the FIT4MOM team? I love combining my passion for fitness with the creativity of developing workouts. It’s so rewarding to design something that will help others achieve their fitness goals.
How has FIT4MOM impacted your motherhood journey? FIT4MOM gave me the opportunity to reconnect with a pre-parenthood passion—exercise—without sacrificing time with my son. It’s helped me feel like “me” again, while also allowing me to stay present and engaged with him through songs, movements, and quality time.
Tell us something about yourself that would surprise us! As much as I love movement and staying active, I also enjoy kicking back with my feet up and watching TV. Netflix, Hulu, and even Anime— I’m into a wide variety of shows!
